Extreme Home Makeover in Blacksburg, Virginia
Today after school, a bunch of the teachers headed over to Mrs. LeMaster’s house, because she lives DIRECTLY across the street from the Extreme Makeover House that was picked in Bburg. It was awesome being so close. Spectators weren’t allowed to come anywhere near the street, but the people who lived there were allowed to bring guests in their cars. Only cars that had special parking permits were allowed anywhere near the street, and the home owners aren’t even allowed to walk down the street unless they are wearing their VIP passes. Neat!! I got to sit inside the VIP heated tent in the 28 degree weather. I didn’t have a camera, but I did take some pics with my cell phone. Mrs. Wertz said she’d give me a copy of her pics from her Digital Rebel. Woo!
